Finally I can do some more work on this model. I did a little on the torso and the boot, now I'm working on the right half of Norman.

Here is the start to the shoulder armor he will have. I may decide to spruce it up a bit afterwards.

I am trying to finish on time, but I am not positive, especially because I have not done UV mapping before. I have a lot of classes and homework too, but its due in about a month.

Looking good user added image I like the boot shape a lot

I think you'll definately get the model finished and even if its not UV'ed/textured for this competition then you'll have a good piece for your portfolio and to work on in the future user added image

Thanks.

I plan on completing the model. I just have to put more work and time into it.

A lot of models are coming along nicely. The final results should be quite interesting. Good luck all.

Wow this is looking awesome. I still think I have one of the mighty max minatures laying around, had 3 or 4 ofem, like little heads that unfolded into a mighty max level, they were awesome!

Here is a little shot of what I have so far. I plan on starting the head, probably tonight or tomorrow. I seem to like to work on parts of the whole and then put them together at the end.

I hope it turns out well.

Are you using reference to make sure all the bits are in the right proportion?

Looks like its starting to come together a bit more now user added image

For this project I am not using anything in particular to keep things in proportions, other than the grid. I just model it by eye and render test images. This is because I didn't draw a front and side reference image; how I would normally model something.
