Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Porsche GT3

I'm just about finished up the modeling process. Will texture it soon. Let me know what you think.

not bad at all!

BUT its a bit lumpy, and the rims could work with a bit of tweaking, or redoing in polys if you did it in nurbs, because they look like sloppy stitching.
the car is great-but like i said its a bit lumpy in some places

Thanks, the lumpyness is mostly from not having enough FG rays. I just wanted a fairly quick test render.

the edges of the body panels would look better if they were sharper and "squarer"
right now they look kinda doughy (soft) and kinda sloppy

its not an easy task though

I agree it is a little squishy... would be good for a claymation.
Good work though, it is not easy user added image

Yeah it's just using the default lambert shader. It'll look a lot sharper when I get the right shader on user added image
