Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Is that a dalmatian? LOL j/k

However, being winter and all ... some spots on it do go against camouflage. user added image

It was supposed to be some kind of cammoflage.
I was thinking of calling it "spot", but this mech will be named "Tweety - The Bad Chick"

The logo on the leg is representing "PAX Peace Forces" from the comic "Give Me Liberty" Frank Miller / Dave Gibbons.

Hmmm…
I’ve spent this weekend to finish modeling(having a hard time learning Maya) but I don’t know if I’ve got time to texture it. Never mind. Here’s what I’ve got so far;

Lol, don´t worry mate. I´ll update them tonigh.

Excellent modelling by the way! Might want to try to at least present it in a scene for the final comp. If the texturing is too much then perhaps try for a shader? Excellent entry again!

ok then

When I started out in Maya I thought that I should learn all about modeling before I go any further into texturing. But it feels a bit dull to use the fractal noise map on all your work. So, I’ve been reading all I can about texturing lately and maybe I give it a try on this one.
