Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
I am following you're StarWars spaceship toturial and I have a question when building the wings.
I have seen that you use 3 splits to create good beveled edges on the flaps like the image I have attached to this post and I wondered why didn“t you crease the edges in subdivision instead.
What's the difference? because by creasing you get lighter poly mesh which makes it easier to work.
