ok. i was trying to figur something out and was just clicking random stuff(i know iam not doing that agianuser added image ) but here thte picture, and tell me if you know how to get rid of it. it's like a wireframe.

you should be able to just right click mouse and go to object mode .... should put ya back to where you need to be ..

make sure you are over object with mouse

you are in hulls. Try changing (by right clicking over sphere) to control vertex, isoparm... or just change it to anything else. Then change that to object mode if directly from Hulls doesn't work (which is completely odd)

Yeah i tried doing what you said nothing happend just kept going back it's really odd.

Well i found out how to get rid of it after re-installing it like 5-7 times i deleted everyinthing that had something to do with maya and it worked after re-installing it that time user added image

rather than reinstall maya, you can set all the setting back to the default settings, or you can delete the user settings, which are usually stored in my documents-> maya somewhere.

my documents -> maya -> (version of maya you are using) 7.0 -> and delete prefs folder

But that does erase everything back to default ...then just go back in maya and should be okay ....

it also erase shelf items so make sure you have those handy to install back .
