Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

not looking bad Angalid user added image

check out the shoulders, they look a little too sunk into the body and could do with lifting slightly.
If you're going for a realistic look then the legs look too long and the hips are a little wide. Is it the joan of arc refs that you're using as it looks a little similar?

Looking cool. About the hair. There is a great technique
you create lots of poly/nurbs surfaces that match the
overal look of the hair make them be on top of each
other or even intersect (for a messy hair) then add
texture with opacity map and it should look good.
As far as I know lots of big movie studios using this
technique. It is easier to model, gives nice performance
and fully animatable (if you make it soft body)
