Vote for your favorite Steampunk Entry!

Vote for your favorite! Once again, the winner of this vote is not necessarily the winner of the challenge. Don't forget to look at the entries over at SL!

I of course can't stop you, but I would prefer that legitimate members of the community were the ones voting

This pole shows something very interesting. There is a significant difference in pure numbers of people at the forums.
At least thats assuming that no one gave up on voting because they didn't want to regeister for another forum just to vote for a simple pole. Not to mention how many Maya people have seen the SL models for the same reason? If this is true for just one person, then the poll is meaningless.

I was posting away like mad but hardly anyone responded, and those who did had little to contribute. And I'd look over at SM and lots of people were posting. More than that, there was real constructive crits. I envy you. At least this is something to look forward to when the merger goes through. Any Idea when thats going to happen?

I had totally forgotten about SL even being in the comp until the voting started. I registered at SL and checked out the entries before I voted. I will be visiting there from time to time from here on.

I've asked in SL, if a copy of our models can be place here as well.
Hey... we can do it ourselves. Just open the thread for us. :p

I do visit SL but to be honest the community there always seems a little aloof or maybe it's just that I don't visit often enough.
Another thing about contructive crits is I don't really know that much about Lightwave so don't feel qualified to offer too much advise.
Hope this will change when the site merger goes ahead.
David did mention he would like to try and get it done by the end of the month so hopefully not too long to wait now user added image

LOL, hope thats a joke.

I went for Jsprogg as it was the best steam punk model in my opinion, 3d Maniak's was great, but it was a scene rarther than a model, also it, for me, was not as steampunk as Jasprogg's.
