depth map shadow intensity

how do I increase the intensity of a depth map shadow?

attr editor -> lightShape tab -> Shadows -> DepthMap Shadow Attrs -> resolution

or if you mean the shadow color intensity same tab -> Shadow -> Shadow Color

erm. no i don't mean quality, and i don;t mean colour, they're already black. i want them to be more promenant, darker.

try with the bias settings. maybe that helps.
