This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Importing objects

Hey, is there any way to have maya update an imported item? Like if I edit a cube that was imported in to another sence, is ther some way that I can have maya update it?

You can do what's called referencing. Instead of File > Export, you'd use File > Create Reference. I don't have a lot of experience with it, but I think this is what you want.
