Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Straight Edges

I'd like to smooth this but keey the teeth to have sharp/hard edges, Is there any way to do it?

Select the faces you want to smooth, then use smooth. (don't select the tooth faces) You might have to use the poly split tool to make some new faces to get exactly what you want, though.

!!, wow, mike you just solved a mystery! Oh this is great stuff, thanks mike! Jeeze, adding that one extra poly on each corner sure does wonders.
