locator and components

hi,

how can i control a CV with a locator? can i parent it somehow? or use expression?
so can i parent a component 2 an object with simple child-parent relation?

You need to use clusters to control CVs.

then you can use parent or point contrain the cluster to a locator if u want

if i want 2 control each CVs of a curve on object level, i have 2 make several clusters with proper CV weight settings, or there is a lazy way?[other than scripts of course..user added image]

No real away around this but the long way. Naturally, you can create several clusters and then control groups of clusters with a locator or other control object.
