two points

Right I have two points that I want to become one in Lightwave you would Weld them, I dont seem to see anything like that.

select one of the points
hit w for the move tool
hold v and snap one of the points to the other
then go to edit polygons - merge vertices
hope you understand that

You don't necessarily have to snap them first, but it can make it easier when snapping a lot of points. Adjust the distance option to merge vertices that are not snapped together.
