vim: Yeah I know. This was just a test to see what MR can do .

In the final image I plan on using some kind of fur on the carpet to make it look more real and barely no reflectivity.

.. it may be so on your toy but a pooltables side pockets are quite a bit different. You may want to search google for some images. however if thats the way it is on your toy ignore this.

And a pooltables bumpers come to a shaper edge. They arent that rounded.

Ive always wanted to model a pool table(avid pool player), but too many projects...

Good luck in the competition.

twisteddragon33: Like you assumed my toy is a bit different in the way that the balls actually go into the legs and thrue a little hole on the side.

I have started on the hole and will post an update soon.

Image showing the detail of the leg. Just threw on some shaders to separate the parts a bit.

Decided to go for the exclusive look, simply because I think the pooltable looks so much better in metall than plastic.

Not sure how to get a nice carpet though. The fur plan didn't work like I wanted so next I'm gonna try using a very dense bumpmap.

Tight! But maybe, in the render globals section, you may want to up the Anti-Aliasing to min-0 max-2 or 3
