Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I have no problems whatsoever with this head! Vladimir, you are extremely talented!

For whatever it's worth, a long neck has been used in art to depict someone who is shifty, and given the character's occupation (an assassin, I presume), the longer neck adds to the character's overall unpleasant demeanor! The neck tendons may be a bit thick, but I will presume it is part of the design.

I rather like the eyes. Their positioning adds to the scariness of this fellow.

Excellent work, thanks for sharing! Keep us posted as this model nears completion!

Regards,

Lt. Jim

i see your using XSI, good choice, we should have simplyXSI.com, instead of simplymax.com, lol, J/K, but XSI is better than max in my opinion....we should add simplyXSI

good job!!!!!!!

i really like the miscle definition

looking awesome vlad, have you got any concept sketches? just curious as to what gear this guy's going to be decked out in. I'm assuming you're keeping him topless, after all who would want to cover up all that immense detailing?

One minor crit looking at the c/u of the head, thats a pretty big indent on the side of the head just over the right brow

Otherwise its all pretty neat, but you should really box model LOLuser added image

Cheers Vlad
