It's looking good!

I dunno what I think about the floor, personally. I mean, it's a little bit grungy, and kind of mixed with a clean modern kitchen. It certainly adds color, but in my opinion, it's a kind of interesting mixture.

Everything looks great though! Heh, you should do a shot with the lights on, so we can see all of that amazingly perfect looking stuff you've made. A night shot would make them not so visible!

Super awesome job though user added image

5/5

Thank you guys for the crits and comments. I have since toned down the green to a hue thats less "in your face" so to speak and boosted the tile to grout ratio. When I initially thought about this scene, I really just wanted clean look with green and white with some stainless steel, brushed metal in the setup. I' m a little pissed off right now since Maya just up and freakin' crashed, my pain killer just wore off and this damn movie I have going in the back isn't making much sense lol.

Anyways, made a new tile texture. Heres a snip.

ahh that's better. The edges of the tiles though are darker green... it seems a little dirty? Was that your intention or not?

It looks great though, keep it up.user added image

@ acid, Thank you <3

@ Bluethunder, no thats not grunge, if it were grunge I'd dirty up the grout also. I just didn't want one flat color for the tiles. I don't much care for the compression in this image, I saved it right out of SnagIt.

@gster, thanks I always like a nice interior render. user added image

Ah, well now that I look at it more.. it looks fine! user added image

eh I guess what prompted me to first think that was the green. I guess the green kinda triggered something in my brain -.-

awesome job so far. What else are you going to improve? i suggest power outlets, as mentioned before. that is, if you didn't already add them in.. i didn't see them.

cheers!user added image

There are outlets, there is even a light switch, but thats on the right wall, I'm probably going to move it over next to the fridge.

this is VERY cool and what i would expect from you.., though i know you can do better user added image

Im wondering, are you happy with this 3 point perspective.., personally i think it destroys it. Changing your focal length from what looks like default (35mm) to 70-100, and then position the scene back to how it is now.., and you should lose the lens distortion (three point perspective).

works for me.., but then again.., mine taj model is scaled to over 40 foot.., so you might need different focal lengths.

just my 2 cents worth my friend.

Thanks Mirek user added image lol yeah I kinda liked the distortion its actually a wee bit more than default, I had tried it with different settings like in a couple of the earlier shots, though I liked that look too (I might do some of that at a later point) I decided I liked the distortion more. I don't like to half-ass my efforts (for the most part) but I have to put things to rest, I'm enjoying this project still but the next stuff I post will be the final images.
