You know... something I've noticed is that as I go along with this I seem to get better at modeling, making each part! user added image

Good stuff so far wicket! Yea, i feel the same.. as i model more and more (especially at the level im at) i will be way better at the end of a big model then when i started it. Your gundams hopefully will assemble "quickly"... now too bad you couldnt just design lots of different gundam parts from the whole series.. and then you could like piece together cool gundams out of your imagination "This head, ooh and this neck, oh and this body, and this armour".

I actually was thinking that would be cool! Cause scale wise they are all the same size! I also want to creat my own that I'll be the pilot of but I wanted the practice of these first to see how (in depth) each one of these looked and felt! Anyways more tonight!

The head was a poly sphere that I just atarted to extrude and intrude faces, edges, and verts untill I got the basic shape then I started to add the detail and make it look like the head I wanted! The body was a sphere and a cube that I shaped and then when I hade the two parts shaped I combined them into one body piece. As for the the "skirt" part Cubes, 1/2 cylinder, and a sphere shaped up! Also I only model half the body and head and then duplicate and attach! Works for me and as you can see I feel is successful! user added image

Next I'll be asking you about NURBS cause as I have witnessed you are the NURBS king! Later mate!

Undseth: How come you are an excellent NURBS modeller and not so confident in polys? I ask because I thought for most people it was the other way round e.g. most people find polys easier than nurbs. Just curious.
