help me DECIDE

Hello all!

i currently have a ati 9800pro and am seroiusly thinking about getting another graphics card because i have this problem where maya gets ultra laggy after about 20 minutes spent into the program....does anyone know if ati plans to match this problem up with the next catalyst???

if not....please can anyone suggest what kind of graphics card is fully compatible with maya 6.
