Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Rendering Issues
I'm having some weird Rendering issues with my Maya 5.0. When I render a scene and try to render it again, the render screen is black (like nothing is coming up). It's not the computer(s) since when I render a simple pic (like just a cone or something) I can see it.
