Xray!?

Hi!
For some reason I can't get Xray to work when I work with my surfaces. It is greyed out in the shading menu and the quick button does nothing to my selected object. Some
setting I forgotten?

I'm a newly reformed 3D studio user so I'm a bit unsure of all the settings that needs to be done.

Well if you're trying to switch to xray mode you have to be in shaded mode first, I can't think of any other reason.

You can do it in any camera, orthographic or perspective, but as GecT said, you must be in shaded mode first. Press 5 on your keyboard and it should show up.
