Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
start of boot, not sure whether to go with brown or black, but whichever, it will hopefully be a lot more weathered/battered looking than it is currently.
the waistband thing is good it adds complexity. you're really doing great :tup: something about the folds though...trousers usualy have folds radiating from the groin area. you can just look at yours for reference and for some other folds

do you mean there needs to be more folds? there are a few folds radiating upwards from the groin, maybe the lighting does show these too well. Should there be some going downwards as well?
