Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Well...

Its the MAC v PC debate for about the 185th time lol...

It is known that MACS are inferior to the PC in a lot of ways:

Price
Lack of Software (compaired to both Windows and Linux)
Price
Lack of hardware Upgrading possibilites
Price

I knbow we have gone over this over and over again. gster123 knows what he is talking abut as he used to work for apple, I have supported MAC and Windows, and with all its flaws and issues and problems Id rather use windows and a PC than a MAC...

TBH, hardly no viruses exist for MAC as no one can be bothered to write them, but know ur on Intel, with a UNIX backend suported by a MAC UI. The world of virus is open you u now. As soon as the hackers find a way, then I am afraid the MAC's time will come. So dont think you sitting pretty in the mac world, life on a mac is easy, but it wont be for long...

PC & Windows Choice 1
MAC & Windows Choice 2
PC & Linux Choice 3

I am going to resist the temptation to rattle on about SLI and CrossFire and the iMac so I'm going to add one thing into this volatile mix:

In computer security, not even the computer programmed not to log anyone on, encased in a titanium capsule and buried in concrete is secure.

They do occasionally, not as much as PCs but its a good practise to back up and reinstall every year.

One last thing to say...

A computer is only as good as the person behind the keyboard

Amen Chris.

Ive used mac's plenty of times, we had one at home when I was a kid, used em at uni, used them at work, so although I dont own one I do know about them, still wouldent have one cant see any advantage at all of one in doing any actual work, just disadvantages.
