I have no middle mouse button so i cant drag the name of the mel into the shelf how can i do this without? Thanks

Actually, you might wanna PM Our resident Mac/Maya guru "Danny Ngan" in our Melscripting section.
He'll know better than I about using Mac hardware with Maya I presume
You could also talk to your Alias rep, as I'm sure they'll know of any shortcuts in the event you cannot get a 3-button mouse.
