I'm sorry but this is getting rather annoying!!!! Jango, can you please make something that sucks so I/we don't all have to

1/ praise your excellent work all the time
2/ feel very inferior
3/ try to think of new and witty ways to make new posts, and fail miserably in the process user added image

Awsome.
I was wondering, the first ridge(closet to the figure) Was that modeled? and the background, an image on a Plane?

You know you spend to much time in Maya, when you try to Tumble in your browser. :-)

very nice, but the smoke coming out of the engines arent very 'realistic'. As the smoke comes out, it has to shrink (as you did) but also become more and more transparent. Right now it seems like it has the same color all the way to the top.

Other than that, good tease! Cant wait to see this movie!

LOL Thanks Dudes

Mantat: Yeah smoke is difficult. I didn't want to spend hours and hours on that one element, it was frustrating as it was. I love particles etc but didn't wanna do as I said hours and hours. I just want it to be acceptable.

The foreground was a model and the background was done in Bryce then bought the image into Maya!!!

LOL thanks man!! I would love to work there. All these kind words from you all......
You all get a mention on my website by the way, because of the positive comments and enthusiasms that you all have, no matter what level you are at, its real good because on some of these sites some people are just so far up themselves it just gets on my ****.

Hoping to be online this weekend, if I get the stuff thru tomorrow.

Also forgot to mention, I recommend rendering your final images with ray traced soft shadows. The render times are thru the roof but well worth the wait, also can be better than MR if you do it right!!

Cool. Can't wait to the release of the site!

As I said, great work. I think that someone (who should remain aynomus "aka jango") should be nominated for the maya masters! :p
