Thank you Roman!

Hehe, it took Maya about two minutes to close today. Im thinking of splitting the project into two files for better modeling pleasure.

Well, heres a side view of the Millennium Falcon.

Man you are great at modeling technical things. I haven't try any tech stuff yet I love my organic modeling humans and creatures. You make me want to try soon though. Great work!!!

Thank you Kurt!

But I have to say, it is no secret to this. Numerous detail add up to a realistic model along with proper and believable proportions.

It is funny how the mind intuitively pick up on proportional "errors".

I am satisfied with the shape of the disc(s) now, she looks good and fat like the "real" thing. user added image

And...

Pheu... The numerous small parts can be annoying/boring to model, but not if its fun (of course). And as I close in on the completion (with the necessary details) it sure is fun to render it.

I have decided to model the landing gear (fun part) and the entering ramp (also a fun part).

Guns, guns, guns.

One can get addicted to getting comments i think, I love it!

I think I'll go for the landing gear and then finishing the disc's.

Yawn... im tired! I'm going to fight sandman tonigh.

um... here's a ... mysterious and dark rendering, showing much of the (RETRACTED parts) entry-ramp on the Millennium Falcon.

I have close to no idea as how to model the landing gear user added image, but I'll manage I guess.

WOW man, nice work!

Looks like you've got a handle on it already, but if this helps in any way, then by all means...
