Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

collisions

I was wondering how and why I am getting Rigid Bodies penetrating each other. I have a scene where a wooden support is supposed to slide down a wall, so one end of it is resting against the wall, the other on the floor. The floor and wall are both passive rigid bodies, and the support is an active rigid body with gravity. Yet the end of the support against the wall always penetrates it, and slides through the wall. I even tried deleting the face it slides against, and creating a new polygon there, but the same thing happened. I have tried messing with collision layers, and collisions are on for all objects, but it still happens.
Also just curious, what causes rigid body interpenetration, when you get that error message? is there any good way to prevent it, aren't rigid bodies 'supposed' to collide. What causes the error and are there good ways to prevent it.

Thanks

David
