Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

hahaha...

man, the finger really freaks me out... especially the front view which is pointing right at me...

its like those "Uncle Sam needs YOU!!" war propaganda from the war years.

on the bear, are you going to use fur?

I don't think I'll be using fur on the bear since it only f*cks up on me and I'm not that good with it to fix the problems and get a nice render. I will however try and get a softer feel to the bear.

thanks t1ck135 user added image

this is actually the first real image i'm creating in 3d, before it has only been a model and some simple background and a decent render.
But now I have to think at all these small things and I have to work in different ways with different objects so I'm learning alot as I go.

oh and here's a little update on the hand:

this is going great. the hand is fantastic.

i think the bear however looks a little cartoony, compared to the hand... i think it's the really round hands and feet.

having said that, i can really see the theme of fear in this one.

well done
