Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

well, the lips and the chin area are too far forward..
also, you should post wireframes, that would help people understand your geometry better.

yup and the eyes need to be halfway on the head, so bring the forhead up further.
Good effort so far, i think the body looks better than the face user added image

There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.

it seems to me that you are not using any references for your model.
if you want here's where you can get a couple of free ones...

well, try bringing the cheek bones a bit down. make jaw slightly wider. the chin might still go in a bit. and yes, the eyes are a bit large...

Some advice. Modelling characters is hard, and, as this is a work in progress you really need to slow down, instead of bombing along and adding detail left right and centre, when its clear that theres alot wrong with this model.

You yourself have said that 'at this stage its hard to change' alot of the the model. So there you should have stopped before progressing any further. I would cut the model in half and then separate each section ie; arms head body legs etc and then model/tweak each part again but get crit at every stage, so if you do the eyelids or mouth get some form of opinion when you have those done, but as already said, get reference for these sort of things, even if you were modelling a pen get some reference.

Sounds like Im banging on doesnt it, well yeah I am because I feel you will have wasted valuable time on this model when you could have modelled it alot slower, asked questions sooner and progressed alot faster instead.

Cheers
Jay
