Joints and the Ground Plane

Sup All user added image

I’ve just started learning how to use bones in Maya but I’ve got a rather annoying problem in that I’m finding it very trick to stop the feet of my character going though the floor Is there a way I can tell Maya not to let the joints below the ground plane?

Cheers Ben
