May/June-Norm-MattTheMan

Ok- I will be creating a death sequence (overly long and dramatic) using Jae-Jin Choi's alien pre-rigged low poly model (3k tris). I might texture it first though.

[edit] nah, death sequence = too violent.

How about a ladder climbing loop and possibly a "lose balance" sequence?

And I will render it in Indigo as well as Maya SW- just to show everyone that Indigo ain't a waste of time :p

I started the work on my animation- just doing a walk cycle up to the ladder- then an "examination sequence" of the ladder -eg look at the bars, up, and grab bars, then a climbing cycle, and then a "loose balance sequence" and then continuing the climbing cycle.

Right now i'm at the first few steps of walk cycle. (first step to be exact :p).

Later,

ok- I got the first steps down, where he walks up to the ladder.

Sorry for the supercompressed video- I am trying to find a site that will let me host these babies without rejecting my email or verification :p

The character is really nice. Nice topology and rig.
As for the zip file...you can maybe just host the clip on a site...the one I use right now because its free, has no banner adds and has a good amount of storage and transfer allowed is Awardspace.com...havent had any issues with them yet. They also allow PHP and allow 1 free MySQL database, if you're into web stuff at all.
