Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

SimplyMaya + Lynx = ?

Has anyone tried to browse this forum with Lynx?

I got bored so I tried and surprisingly, it tuns out OK, although I haven't figured out how you are supposed to look at pictures and that yet.

For those who haven't heard of Lynx, its a text based browser that runs in a terminal... Despite its age and its lack of recent updates, it is still pretty cool and is amazingly fast!

Why would you want to? Nostalgia??

Can you actually get it to display pictures with it being text only.

Might fire up the ol Amiga and see if that still works.

I have absolutely no idea why... user added image

This is the first time I've used Lynx. No idea why I suddenly installed it.

As for displaying pictures... still haven't found a way yet. Lynx wants to download the pic every time you select it, so I'll need to google whether its actually possible.

And this post is done with Opera, if anyone is curious,

I was wondering why I couldn't find about Lynx and pictures on Google! user added image

I also tried posting here in Lynx, but that didn't work...

Oh well, I'll just enjoy the multicoloured text then! user added image
