This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

some of the bits (like in the second one) are still rolling around when it should probably be still.

probably increase the friction or something on the floor

Thanks man! Yeah im going to have to adjust that, this was only a test. I eventually want to have the lantern push over somehow, shatter and set fire to a room/house. With the result of the house or room burning to the ground. It will prolly blow up my comp when i try to render it all out haha, but for now im trying to make sure i at least can do each part on its own before i attempt to combine them all.user added image
