Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
So im trying to work on the characters face and there is a spot i want to add a verticy, when i cut the face, split polygon, offset, or any other tool it cuts the face, will show picture of what i want to do and whats happening.
never mind im just gonna delete the proxy and work on the smoothed copy, but if you have an idea let me know, im going to save a copy of it with the proxy mode incase i need to go back.
