Lord of the Rings Online
This is fairly random, but I was noticing that LOTR Online is free to play on steam, but I've never played any MMORPGs before, and so I don't know if it is any fun. I'm a fairly big LOTR fan, I only play games occasionally, mostly indie games, or Valve games. Has anyone played it, or is anyone interested in playing it? Are these the kind of games you can play on your own, or do you need people you kind of know to play with?

I say play if you're interested, but make sure you take a tour of its seedy underbelly (there's always going to be one to some degree!) before you settle in.
