This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Another one i use all the time is spPaint3d
spPaint3d is a raycast based object placement tool.
Unlike geometryPaint, it doesn't use any UVs or a spacial grid to control the position of the placement of newly created objects. https://www.creativecrash.com/maya/script/sppaint3d
So what do you use?
David
From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
gen_unfilteredTextures
For the Minecrafters who are annoyed at Maya resetting the unfiltered display of realtime textures.

Stuff that's not mine

Awesome at scattering objects around the scene as it allows you to paint objects or a sequence of objects onto other surfaces
I don't remember which ones I wrote or paid for so I will just give this list. Every time I open maya I use scripts. Would not be as efficient without them. I also write and take from other scripts to make my own windows and workflows. It saves clicking and streamlines work. Everyone should learn Mel or Python. Even just basic syntax knowledge allows you to do 10x more.
