Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

modeling issue, need help!

hey guys,

I need help for my character modeling. I already made the middle edge all straight, but when I duplicate special (copy), merged it, combined and then I smoothed it, it looked like it's crooked all the way in the middle. I hope I could get help by some of you. thank you!

cheers,
Tami

You might have internal faces as well, there should be an open hole where the center plane is before you duplicate it, instead of a watertight mesh.
