Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

This gun was originally for a character called Mork Stryydr. Mork Stryydr was designed by someone called Dark181st, who wanted me to design him along with all his weaponry. So far, I have created his cloak, vibro-axe, rifle, pistol, belt, and basic body. I've slowed down a bit though, because character modeling is difficult for me since I'm a newbie to Maya and don't have the Poly Sub-D option that Maya Unlimited provides. I only have M-Complete. Darn. Anyway, I am relatively unexperienced with lighting, texturing, and whatever else is used to make things pretty, so it will probably be a while. A looong while. I'm working on Expressions for animation right now as well as lighting, glows, and rendering.
