Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Navigation Essentials! Need Help

Ive been messing around with Maya (Student Edition for several days now and ive been doing fine until yesterday. Suddenly My navigation settings have changed. When I zoom in using my mouse roller, In perspective view, I zoom in 3x faster then normal, maybe faster. No longer does Alt-Left click do roll over. it does Drag instead (Drag is what Alt-right click does)

The Big Question
I need help changing my zoom sensitivity. I only have this problem In perspective view, no other view. How do I change it back to zooming slowly in instead of zooming fast. And I need to change My Alt left click back to roll over. How do I change these Navigational Settings.

I got to master this

zoom sensitivity is based on your mouse's scroll wheel settings in windows and not Maya.

Control Panel > Mouse > Wheel

Lower the "Number of lines at a time" setting. I have mine set to 3. Note: When Maya is zoomed in closely to objects, zooming in and out is often more sensitive than it should be.
