Hey bloodyclaws welcome to the SM boards user added image. I actually did a Maya FAQ for my blog and this is one of those questions that pop up a lot, a simple ctrl+f for chrome will pull it up. The model looks really good btw though it may need a some beveling on some of those corners ------>>Maya FAQ<<------

You can actually simulate blurred environments in software if needed. This only works if you're only reflecting an environment image. Open up the file texture node, and turn on pre filtering, and raise the slider to something that looks good. What this does is it blurs the environment, simulating blurred reflections.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
