Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

I.. have a dream

I have a dream, where people can battle 1 on 1 and the winner progresses to the NEXT ROUND... WOOOOOO. Each round has its own theme, and then a new one altogether the next round. It would be maybe 3 day battles, or 1 week battles depending on the tournament. I think if you did a big budoukai each year (tournament) with 16 competators, 1 week each round.. you could have a huge event going on. It could be boosted to 32 people depending on the size of the tournament and if it got popular. The smaller ones could be ran in the battle arena. Tell me what you think user added image. Heres an image of what I mean.

Isnt that kinda like the idea i had in the monitor batle thread? cool thoughuser added image

Would there be any votes or anything.. possible relations between the objects?

Maybe object in the quarter finals somehow fit with objects in semi finals.. and then it all ties to last..

like 1-Sword
2-shield
3-Armor...

You could mix it up a bit with samarai armor.. high tech armor... or midecvil armor.

Hey, i love that idea! I also was thinking of that. The only reason i would like to swap it up is so that it becomes more of a challenge. Like, organic, then non-organic etc. So yea, maybe (model a person).. then (model a complex armor).. then (model a scene for the samurai) user added image. And at the end the last 2 people show their final compositions.. i like it user added image. Well, gotta go.. cya

*cough*...

i said that too....

but yes. the only problem is it would be tricky. tell 2 people to make an object with the exact same criteria and they will never come out with the same style of work.
