Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

My Prefix Box

Hi Guys!

How's you all doing? Well I have a rather, shall we say, stupid question. lol You know that box in the upper right corner of Maya that lets you go from up, down, left, right? Well, I somehow made it vanish! Question: How do I make it come back?

Thanks Much

"GS"

Or in preferences under the categorie interface, select viewcube and select 'show the viewcube'. This way you don't reset everything to their defaults.

it's useful when you want to look at a particular angle.. mine keep disappearing.... it's good when you need to see the OTHER side of the model in one of those orthographic views

i don't understand why anyone wouldn't want it user added image

Yeah or you could use the predefined bookmarks, I dont mind it, think its ok, nothing great, but overall a "not bad" addition.
