How to change menu's background color?

I just wonder how to change menu's background color of Maya 2008 for linux 32bit(My OS:ubuntustudio).I changed the system's theme color,unfortunately it only works on the text,the backgroud color is still the same:headbang: .... anyone get the same question? What can i do..... thx user added image

no idea abt linux. although, check the color settings under settings/preference menu (like in windows) and from there u can change the color settings. but agn, it maynot be as in windows ...
