user added image its cool.

BUT, Now I'm having another problem

I want to create a panel , but no matter what I do, it keeps giving me an error : curves must be closed blah blah...

what I'm doing is using the EP Curve Tool to create one half of the shirt in the front view and duplicating it (with X scaled to -1)

Now what?

I tried attaching them and using the attached curve to create the panel. Doesnt work .

I tried closing one half of the curve and checking if just that half will work with the panel thing... Nope. doesnt work.

Its 4:00a.m. and I'm tired, btu I want this to work!

what do I do?

thanks,

Here are the two curves for example.

They are closed, but i keep getting an error, the curves must from a closed loop, look for unconnected or extra curves.

I KNOW I'm doing something wrong, but what is it?

You have to you use the EP curve tool, and draw each line individually to make each panel. Once you have the panels drawn and you used snap to curve option you should not get that error message when you try and make the panel.

It can be a bit fussy sometimes...

As far as I'm aware, you can't make a panel out of 1 curve. It has to be how Kurt says

I could do what Kurt says if I know what he's talking about.

Unfortunately, I didnt understand what he means by draw each line for each panel?

Sigh.

thanks,

Go to your help in side maya and look for cloth for characters. It will show you all the right steps involved.... Its a bit hard to explain with out showing you.
