I get a 404 error on the second image. I can not see it.

what kind of shader are you using? Just a straight lambert with the color map applied should look ok. Once it looks ok at that point, you can then start doing other stuff.

I've seen this kind of thing with layered shaders, for example.

I don't think it's a bug.

Try applying your image to a material's color attribute in another file and see what it looks like there.

thnx mickley but the same error ocurred with .jpg .tiff and .tga
arggggg i belive this is projection problem but i dont know
what is this ?????

does the texture looks distorted once you render the object?

try not using a projection.

if i not using the projection the colors dont appear

When you go to apply a File texture to your material's color attribute, at the top, make sure it's not set on Projection. Set it on Normal.
