How do I move the pivot point?

How do I move the pivot point whitout moving the object.

Let say I have a cylinder and I want the pivot point in to the right and not in the middle of the object.

I recall I did a tutorial on that a year ago but I can't recall wich it was I think it was one of Mt.Mckinleys tutorials.

Any help would be great, thanks:-))
