This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
So I modeled a lion's head which will be an animated logo (he just roars and shakes his head.)
I want the texture to look like stone, but for some reason the texture doesn't map onto the model correctly all over. The texture looks right everywhere but his forhead, which looks stretched. Now I honestly don't know nearly enough about UV mapping and texture placement, but is there an easy fix to this problem? Something I can do to the verts or faces to make them not stretched my texture in this region?
Thank you for your help. I gotta finish this lion soon!
