This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
alpha means empty = transparent. create a checkerFile (black and white) and map it to the transparency channel. create a light with rayTracing shadows. render.
everything starts and ends in the right place at the right time.
I have a layered texture. it contains a Grid texture and a checker texture (black and white) now I have to make alpha (masking )settings such that I will see checker as black and white tiles and Grid as a grouting between the tiles.
How exaxtly we can achieve that by "alpha settings"
This tutorials shows how to make an alpha channel texture...it puts a label on a bottle...follow the texture section, it should work for ya...even has a zip to DL for help.
