Did you assign a certain material to it? Some materials won't work unless you use Mental Ray. When rendered in the Maya Software Render, it doesn't show the mesh. Try changing to Mental Ray or try to assign a different material. user added image

hey chief, cheers mate, i accidently posted a reply here isntead of on the other thread i started lol, it was a translation problem i was having, but Neostrider fixed me up. user added image thanks anyway, this is what that jumbled looking lump of geometry is spose to look like in its set user added image
