Explosions nDynamics and Fluids - Bombing Run

In this tutorial we take you through creating explosions using Maya's fluid and nparticle systems. We cover managing multiple fluid systems mixed with multiple nparticle systems to create explosions. We also cover instancing geometry to particles and take a look at the 3D fluid texture node to achieve live displacements, transparency and bump mapping. Finally we'll use the auto-resize feature of Maya fluids to speed up the simulation time, and then tie the whole thing together with MEL script.
