how can i seperate the following marked parts....

Ok, first off, plz crop your images? Not my rule, just a modz. You know to help lower bandwidth. And secondly, select the isoparm where you want to detach and go to Edit Nurbs -> Detach surfaces. (under modeling menu set). Hope it helps.

select the vertices you want, then choose EditPolygons>SplitVertix
