Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

C++ runtime error

iv been having allot of problems ever since i first downloaded maya (ple Version 7)

mainly to do with the speed. sometimes it might work ok for a while but then things start to slow down and it can take several seconds to perform simple actions like moving objects or resizing a viewport. this is in a scene with just a nurbs sphere and a plane with a reference picture on.

recently an error message is coming up saying runtime error and some problem with C++ then maya closes.

im running windows xp intel core2duo at 1.86ghz (*2) and 2gb ddr2 ram.

any ideas??

thanks allot

thanks

Hi Kev no long time no type..

Try renaming your maya folder in the my documents folder to see if that helps, if not deinstall / reinstall.
